Earned a B.F.A in Design for the theatre from the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University in 1997. From there while working in New York city began to study at art at The Art Students League, Spring street Studio. In 2005, in a failed attempt to earn a M.F.A in art. I found Pallette and Chisel located in Chicago. A studio with an incredible community of artist steeped in history. Run by artist. What I learned at these Studio’s. I am trying to develop the same environment for Artist here in the South Land. A place where artist can either begin training, continue to hone skills with the Open Studio Sessions or whatever great artist is hosting a workshop that month. Though starting small I want to develop a community where Artist can continue to thrive.
